Install the Temperates App
Put Temperates on your phone, iPad or computer.
iPhone
- Open temperates.com/app in Safari.
- Tap the three dots next to the address bar, then tap Share. (If you see a Share button, the square with the arrow pointing up, in the bottom toolbar, tap that instead.)
- Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Leave Open as Web App switched on, then tap Add in the top right corner.
Android (Chrome)
- Open temperates.com/app in Chrome.
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
- Tap Add to Home screen or Install app.
- Tap Install. If your phone asks again, tap Add.
Samsung Internet
- Open temperates.com/app.
- Tap the three lines in the bottom right corner.
- Tap Add page to, then Home screen.
- Tap Add.
Opened the link from Facebook or Instagram?
- Tap the three dots in the top right corner and choose Open in browser (it may say Open in Safari, Open in Chrome or Open in external browser). Then follow the steps above. Add to Home Screen won't show up inside those apps.
Then turn on your reminders
The next-day check-in is what makes Temperates work. The day after you log a drink, it reminds you to note how you slept and how the day went, so you can see what the drinks did. It only comes on days after you've logged a drink.
- Open Temperates from the icon on your home screen. On iPhone, reminders only work from the home screen app, not in Safari.
- Tap Profile at the bottom of the screen.
- Under Notifications, switch on Next-day check-in.
- When your phone asks to allow notifications, tap Allow.
- Pick your reminder time. If you see Set up this device, tap it too.
